Chief Executive Officer
Bob has spent more than 30 years in the aviation, product sourcing, manufacturing and international freight sectors building strong professional relationships throughout Asia, North America and Europe. A native of England, he moved to the United States in the 1970s and began his career in the commercial airline industry, specializing in international air freight and cargo systems and developing extensive worldwide sourcing and manufacturing channels. In 1990, he established Genesis Worldwide Enterprises, Inc. to expand services in licensing, Asian sourcing and supply chain management for a growing list of OEM clients and company owned brands. An expert in the development of SCM operational models that streamline product delivery and capitalize on technology innovation and economies of scale, Bob has led Genesis Worldwide's growth into new global markets and product categories. As part of the expansion and diversification model for his core businesses, Bob became interested in alternative energy and in 2003 built a new, 29,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Northern Arizona that is completely powered by photovoltaic cells. In 2009, while pursuing other alternative energy options and sustainable power sources, he began exploring biodiesel fuels and met Dan Rees, eventually partnering to build a new, highly efficient biodiesel plant in Gilbert, AZ. The plant went online in December 2010 with production on track to generate 10 million gallons of biodiesel by the end of 2011 and reach full capacity of 30 million gallons within two years.
Dan Rees: President
A top business expert in the field of biodiesel production and benefits in the Western U.S., Dan Rees has brought technical expertise, real-world market application techniques, and a true entrepreneur's passion to the development and launch of REV biodiesel. His more than 25 years of experience in business development and management, coupled with a 15-year involvement in the launch and management of new models for environment sustaining businesses, has made Dan uniquely qualified to oversee REV biodiesel's growth. After becoming the youngest franchisee of Snap-On Tools at the age of 22, then surviving a near fatal motorcycle accident a few years later, Dan defied the odds by making a physical and professional comeback that has included building a multi-million dollar toner remanufacturing business since 1994 and, in 2007, founding Performance Biofuels, LLC / AZ BioDiesel, the first Federally licensed biodiesel fuel producer/supplier Phoenix area. AZ BioDiesel produced and sold more than 500,000 gallons of biodiesel in less than three years. Now, with REV partner Bob Flynn, he has built a next-generation biodiesel facility in Gilbert, AZ with an eventual capacity of 30 million gallons of fuel from the current operation and a proprietary production model that ensures maximum output while recapturing nearly 100% of all by-products. Always concerned with environmental and sustainability issues, Dan and REV biodiesel have taken a significant position as a major proponent of clean, renewable, American-made energy solutions at a time when the cost of foreign petroleum fuels continues to rise exponentially.
